Get creative with WIRED Rotherham Music Technology Club for Girls

Join us for the WIRED Club: fun, hands-on workshops led by experienced musicians using industry-standard music technology equipment and programmes. 

We welcome all girls, young women, non-binary people and other marginalised genders aged 11-18 years old with different levels of music and/or technology experience. No prior experience is necessary and you don’t have to be able to play a musical instrument. We do ask that you commit to attending as many of the workshops as you can.

What to expect: 

During the course of the workshops you’ll have the chance to:

• Record, compose & produce music
• Set up microphones
• Use computer software to create beats, basslines & melodies
• Explore sampling
• Try different types of synthesizers
• Learn about potential careers in the music industry
• And more!
