FLUX Rotherham is looking to commission a major artwork or series of artworks created for Rotherham, which use projection, light and sound to animate one of two sites in Rotherham.
We would like to commission a key artwork which builds on musical themes and stories from across Rotherham. Music unites people, is cross cultural, and we have brilliant material, stories and musicians to draw upon. Music as a theme enables us to feature all sorts of communities, choirs, bands and gigs, without being restricted to a timeframe or single story. We would like to feature music and related imagery representative of all Rotherham's rich diversity.
