Rotherham Creative Network Social

A night of film, celebration of local creatives, artist’s panel and networking event

Malcolm J Hogan, Artist In Residence at the Rotherham Civic Theatre, hosts an evening of creativity to celebrate the end of a year-long Arts Council England Project.

Local legend, Granny Norbag, will share the first episode of her long-awaited TV series filmed with Lost Souls Productions and Tunedin Music Productions.

Several local artists, from different creative disciplines, will share videos they have created as under the mentorship of videographer, and BAFTA Connect member, Wayne Sables. These short films were funded by both ACE and FLUX Rotherham.

Writers from the area, previously part of the Skywrites Rotherham Programme, share eight short original films. Filmed, produced and edited by the Children’s Capital of Culture’s Young Producers, these pieces feature local actors and were filmed at Wentworth Woodhouse thanks to funding by New Writing North.

Following the film sharing there will be a panel Q&A and a Rotherham Creative Network social in the foyer of the Civic.

This event is free but you’ll need to get a ticket from here:
