Tin Menagerie with Community Connect

Project overview

Tin Menagerie was an incredible creative collaboration between Community Connect, Wentworth Woodhouse, and Jason Turpin-Thompson. Together, Community Connect and Jason designed and crafted tin animals that formed a captivating trail in the Forest of Bewilderment at Wentworth Woodhouse. Their countless hours of hard work have truly paid off, resulting in a stunning display for everyone to enjoy.

In a meeting with Community Connect, they expressed a desire to create more purpose-driven art sessions for the benefit of the wider community. Meanwhile, our discussions with Wentworth Woodhouse focused on expanding their community reach.

We saw a perfect opportunity and brought the two groups together. After a few brainstorming sessions to discuss ideas, potential artists, and a collaborative approach, the Tin Menagerie was born! It has been an absolute joy to see this project come to life.

The artworks was available to view in August 2022 in the Forest of Bewilderment at Wentworth Woodhouse.
