Join us for Poetry Night with Len Pennie on Friday 15th May 2026 at Grimm & Co., Rotherham.
As part of our Spread the Word project we are delighted to be joined by Len Pennie!
Len Pennie is a poet who writes predominantly in the Scots language. She writes passionately about the promotion of minoritised languages, survivors of domestic abuse and the destigmatisation of mental illness. She is the author of two collections of poetry, both of which are Sunday Times bestsellers: poyums and poyums annaw. poyums won the won the Discover Award for Book of the Year at the 2025 British Book Awards.
The support will be a collection of local poets, who will be announced soon.
Tickets are pay as you feel in price categories £5, £8 or £10. Please pay what you feel you can appropriately afford.
