Rosie Carnall

Title/role: Creative Facilitator

I’m a creative facilitator and a writer. I get people thinking, talking, writing and making together. For ten years I’ve been developing use of the Philosophy for Communities (P4C) methodology. P4C brings people together as a community of enquiry to discuss and explore big ideas – valuable in itself and also a fruitful jumping off point into participatory creative work.

I work with groups of all ages and create brave spaces to encourage people’s participation in writing, thinking and being creative.

Craft-wise, I particularly enjoy paper-based arts, especially making books and boxes and other creative acts that incorporate words.

I have an MA (Distinction) in Creative Writing from Sheffield Hallam University, a first draft of a novel (needs work!) and draw from personal interactions to create reflective short prose and poems.
