The High Street Centre in Rawmarsh is a dynamic community hub that provides room hire and great facilities for meetings, training, interviewing, activities, conferences and events, in a local setting and a range of opportunities for local people of all ages delivered by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
They provide a range of volunteering opportunities alongside a training programme to support people into employment or just to make a positive contribution to the community.
A large number of community groups utilise the centre which is very well equipped with a range of resources including a community kitchen and free parking and has something for people of all ages including a toddler group, Ofsted registered afterschool childcare, lunch club etc.
As well as supporting a number of existing organisations they are keen to link to anyone wanting developing new activity in the community, interested in partnership working or wanting space in Rawmarsh.
