Title/role: Writer | Performer | Songwriter | Storyteller | Author

I am a writer, performer, songwriter, storyteller and self-published author. I’m best known for my children’s character, Granny Norbag, a 91-year-old Yorkshire pensioner who goes on zany adventures.

As a writer, I have written a musical and was part of the first Skywriters Rotherham cohort - a 2021 initiative between Sky TV and New Writing North. I’m currently working on a film script.

My work has been recognised by Sheffield Theatres. I was a Making Room Artist In Residence in 2019 and I completed a community storytelling show for them in 2022. I’ve performed, and delivered workshops to children, at several CCOC2025 events including The Skate And Arts Festival, Affinity2020 Jubilee Launch, Gulleyfest and the GUTS Cultural Careers event. As a singer- songwriter I have had releases on major labels, supported McFly, Mark Owen and Natasha Bedingfield, and toured Europe promoting my original recordings. I taught in primary schools for over 12 years before becoming a full-time creative. I currently deliver creative writing workshops, performance workshops and puppet creation/performing skills to young people. From September 2022 to September 2023 I am the Artist In Residence at the Rotherham Civic Theatre.
