Louise Ann Wright

My art practice is based mostly around drawing, painting and printmaking with a focus on (workshop) participant wellbeing and confidence. My background as an interdisciplinary artist has naturally developed over the past 13 years into a practice working alongside community groups, schools and museum/galleries. I have worked with The Yorkshire Sculpture Park (Planning and facilitating annual workshop programmes) Experience Barnsley Museum, Cannon Hall Museum, REMA, The Cooper Gallery, Discover Dearne and Barnsley Principal Towns. Sustainability is important to my practice and this year I have gained a research and development residency at Cannon Hall Museum where I am growing and foraging pigments from the landscape.
