Over the past 18 years I have designed, facilitated and led projects in education and the community, enabling adults and children, including those with challenges to learning, communication and social inclusion, to express their creativity and build new skills. I believe in making art accessible for all! Born and trained in Rotherham, I have used a variety of mixed media techniques in workshops to date, including felt making; wire work and sculpture using recyclables, making everything from cute wire fish to a giant size crinoline lady sculpted from plastic bottles for a festival. I also exhibit my own artwork and have an interest in colour and intuitive art. With Q.T.L.S. status, I regularly teach groups in the community and worked recently for Flux, running workshops for ‘Makerspace’ culminating in exhibitions at Greasbrough and Riverside Libraries. I also have a background in publishing and write human interest, lifestyle features and fiction.
