Deborah Greenfield

Title/role: Creative Facilitator | Dancer | Photographer

Anglo-American, Deborah was born in London and trained in classical, contemporary and flamenco dance in New York, Spain and Los Angeles. Dancing and choreographing on both sides of the Atlantic, in Spain she won first prize at the V Madrid International Choreography Competition and then founded the contemporary company, FUGA, which toured Europe to critical acclaim. Later based for several years in Los Angeles, she created work for stage and film, during which time she was awarded the coveted COLA and Dance USA awards grants. Returning to Europe in 2009, she collaborated on a multi-lingual dance theatre project, Las Hermanas Tres with support from the City of Paris. As a teacher Deborah has taught classes and courses at professional studios and schools. In Los Angeles she was a teaching artist for the Music Center of LA's arts education programs for many years, introducing dance to countless school children and their teachers.
