This session is a safe space for women, trans and non-binary people. Participants may have never explored creative writing, are very experienced, or just want to find a new hobby! Join the session to make some new friends and learn about creative writing.

You will have an opportunity to learn new writing techniques, create a new poem and/or story that is meaningful to you and has a special impact on what stories you may want to tell.

There are limited spaces available, and will be first come, first serve so go grab them while you can!

Please note - Due to sensitive topics, this workshop is for those who are 18 and over.

Workshop leader -
The workshop leader for the session is Quiana Smith. Quiana started at FLUX Rotherham as a trainee in February 2025. She has a wide background that is full of Acting, Theatre-Making and Collaboration. Her work primarily focuses on storytelling and activism and dabbling with all sorts of topics of the modern world.
