Greasbrough Creates: Mindful Movement

Join us for some Mindful Movement and Gentle Exercise, followed by tea, coffee, and biscuits (and a little bit of mindful art if you’re up for it!). Led by experienced movement practitioner Hayley Beecher, these outdoor sessions are designed to let you move in a way that works for you and your body—slow, gentle, and kind.

Location: Greasbrough Park (meet at the Pavilion). The park is located off Main Street, Greasbrough, S61 4PX

Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm

What to Bring: A towel or blanket to place on the floor.

This session is part of a total of four sessions, the dates of the other sessions are:

  • Monday 1st July,
  • Monday 8th July,
  • Monday 22nd July

You can attend one, a few, or all of the sessions—whatever works best for you. All sessions are free, but places are limited, so please book early!

About the Artist:

Hayley Beecher - Dance Artist & Arts Manager

Hayley brings an extensive and vibrant background in dance and arts management, cultivated over more than two decades of dedicated professional experience. Originally trained as an Ice Dancer, Hayley excelled in national competitions and later shared her passion and expertise through coaching. Her commitment to dance education led her to pursue a Contemporary Dance Degree at Bretton Hall, Leeds University, where she not only honed her artistic skills but also deepened her appreciation for performance art.

After graduating, Hayley’s career blossomed as she continued to perform while developing a profound interest in community engagement through the arts. Her work has since been centered in the Participatory Arts, where she has thrived in roles that span teaching dance to diverse groups and managing community-based art projects.

With over 22 years of experience, Hayley is driven by a firm belief that art is for everyone. She has witnessed the transformative impact of arts on health and wellbeing first-hand, and she channels this insight into fostering inclusive and enriching arts experiences for all participants. Her approach is both personable and professional. Her dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others is evident in every project she undertakes, ensuring that art remains accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
