A relief sculpture depicting a monster with large hairy arms and a dragon-like head carved onto the side of a tree trunk.

In consultation with the Park Rangers, Clifton Park Museum Service and a young creatives group, Jason carved an ash dieback tree in situ in Clifton Park.

Contrasting the living fauna of Clifton Park with the eccentric taxidermy specimens in the museum Jason also opened up an opportunity for young people to work with him to create exquisite birds in aluminium, set into niches cut into the tree. Jason interacted with hundreds of park visitors during the creation of this piece.

How to spot the artwork: From any entrance of the park, walk towards the Watersplash and mini golf area. The sculpture is located in the middle of the space where the paths branch off.
