Ferham Festival

Join us on Saturday 11th July from 1pm at Ferham Park for a fantastic day of free family fun at Ferham Festival! We’ll be celebrating local communities with sport, creativity, performances and more!

There'll be something for everyone to enjoy, with live performances, creative workshops, sports activities, walkabout entertainment, community stalls and plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Walkabout Entertainment

Keep an eye out for some extraordinary visitors throughout the day. The Flycycle from Pif-Paf will be roaming the festival, bringing invention, imagination and comedy. You can also challenge friends and family to a game on Arcade, a playful interactive experience from Casson & Friends.

Get Creative

Drop into a variety of free creative workshops and activities led by local artists and organisations. Have a go at storytelling and creative activities with Grimm & Co, explore hands-on activities from Rotherham Museums, create with Artworks, discover sound-making with Electronic Music Club, and enjoy family-friendly crafts with St Paul's Church. Apna Haq and Rotherham Theatres will also be joining us with activities for all ages. Throughout the day, artists from ROAR will be creating plein air paintings inspired by the festival and local surroundings.

Sports & Activities

Hone your sporting skills, with plenty of opportunities to get active throughout the day. Meet Sheffield Sharks, Rotherham BMX, Rotherham United, Novacity Parkour and local skateboarding groups and have a go at a range of exciting sports and activities.

Live Performances

Enjoy a programme of live entertainment throughout the day featuring local performers and community groups. The line-up includes a Danceathon, Electronic Music Club and a lively samba band, bringing music and energy to the festival.

Information & Community Stalls

Discover local organisations offering support, advice and opportunities for residents. Meet teams from Rotherham Healthwave, Family Hubs, Groundwork, Rotherham and Sheffield Wildlife Trust, Mental Health Matters, the NHS Lung Cancer Service and Oral Health, and find out more about the fantastic work happening across the borough.

Come along, bring your friends and family, and celebrate everything that makes Ferham such a vibrant and welcoming community.
