WOW Rotherham is a vibrant, colourful, bold, fun, and fearless festival celebration of women, girls, trans and non-binary communities, connecting Rotherham to places across the globe as part of the WOW – Women of the World family.
The WOW Festival in Rotherham is returning to Rotherham’s Town Centre to inspire women, girls and non-binary people to share their stories, hopes and aspirations through a series of talks and performances.
WOW Rotherham will take place on Saturday the 11th of May 2024. There will be a different line-up of talks, performances, WOW Market Place, panel discussions, debates, music, comedy and more.
The commissions are a collaboration between WOW Rotherham, Flux Rotherham and Rotherham Council.
As part of the festival, we will host a new commission for a creative workshop for festival visitors to enjoy.
WOW Rotherham 2023 will take place across Rotherham Town Centre, in areas including All Saints Square, Effingham Square, Minster Gardens, Effingham Street and College Street.
