Looking for a gentle way to boost your wellbeing? Join us for a series of short, creative walks at beautiful Clifton Park. These sessions are specially designed for people with lower levels of physical health, long-term health conditions, or mental health challenges — and anyone who would benefit from a little fresh air, creativity, and connection. Scooter and wheelchair users are warmly welcomed. As well as carers and support workers are very welcome to join us!
Creative Health Walk at Clifton Park
- Wednesday, 21st May
- 11.30am - 1pm
- Clifton Park - Meet in the outside courtyard of the Garden Building (next to walled garden)
- Free
- Suitable for: 16+ years
Each session runs from 11.30am to 1pm and is led by artist Amanda Daley, supported by a Flux Rotherham team member and an additional support person.
We'll take a relaxed stroll of 500 to 1000 steps, exploring different corners of the park, with regular opportunities to stop, sit, and enjoy creative activities inspired by nature. Halfway through, we’ll pause for a free hot drink provided by Flux — or you're welcome to visit the museum café afterwards for refreshments.
Come as you are — just wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather!
