Community Knowledge Store is an opportunity for people for come together and celebrate the rich and diverse creativity and culture of our people and places by working with creatives to tell their story.   

End products could include publications, murals, exhibitions, events- whatever is dreamt up! They might be fairly small projects, or they might turn into an idea for something much bigger in the future…   

If your story or idea is selected, we’d work with you to select an artist (musician, writer, designer, poet etc) who could help you to bring the idea to life in a way that shares it with other people.   

How to apply:   

Eligibility 

• You can apply as an individual or group.
• The individual or group must be based in Rotherham and plan to share within the borough.
• Your idea must have the potential to produce work or activities that are of high quality and are relevant to the communities you aim to benefit.

Not Eligible: 

• Applicants who do not live in and/or run a group in Rotherham.
• Projects that do not involve communities in the idea.
• Any activity outside of the law, or anything that encourages ethnic, religious, or commercial disharmony.
