New Mural at Canklow Pavilion Now Open to the Public!

We are thrilled to announce that the beautiful new mural at Canklow Pavilion is officially open to the public!

The mural, created by renowned artist Peachzz with support from artist Trik09, features initial ideas and hands-on contributions from the pupils at Canklow Woods Primary School, as well as community painting sessions. Set against the backdrop of Canklow’s lush green spaces and historic woodlands, this project aims to inspire local children and celebrate the natural environment.

Judith from Community Tree in Canklow shared her thoughts on the new mural: ‘The mural brightens up the pavilion and, I hope, will bring a feeling of unity to the community.’

Donna, also from Community Tree in Caklow, said: ‘I think the mural is colourful and beautiful. It brings us joy every day on the school run, and it makes this neighbourhood a truly special place for me and my family.’

Visitors are invited to come and view the mural, choose their favourite element, and strike their best pose with it in the background. Share your photos with us by emailing them to [email protected]. We'll select a winner by mid-November, who will receive a special Art Pack!
