The Bluebell Wood Walk

The Bluebell Wood Walk

Join us for a creative walk through the picturesque Bluebell Wood at Boston Castle/Canklow Woods led by seasoned walk leader, Brian Thomson.

Start your day with a free brew and gathering at Boston Castle's Earls Room at 11a.m. The walk will set off at 11.30am.

We will be joined by local artist and creative maker Debbie Williams who will be using the native woodland walk, especially the wonderful display of bluebells, as inspiration for us to create a piece of nature-based art to take home or leave for others to enjoy along the route.

All materials will be provided, including responsibly foraged treasures we’ll gather from the woods.

Please ensure you're appropriately dressed for the weather, with sturdy shoes suitable for traversing varied terrain, including potentially muddy paths and some steeper slopes.

Don't forget to pack a drink and a packed lunch (snacks) to keep you fuelled throughout this walk.

Please note, this walk is suitable for participants aged 16 and above, unless accompanied by an adult. It's recommended for those reasonably fit, capable of walking approximately 2.5 miles over a 2-hour period.
